  • Once in the center the teachers will assist your child to take off the shoes and put them in the shoe cubbies. We require socks or indoor shoes before your child enters.

  • Parents/guardians/teachers will use the non-intrusive thermometer to take the child’s temperature upon arrival and advise the temperature readings to the teacher who greets the family. Children who have a fever of 100.40 (38.00C) or above or other signs of illness will not be admitted to UJP. Please be on the alert for signs of illness in children and keep them home when they are sick.

  • The teacher will ask parents/guardians screening questionnaire to confirm the following: the child does not have fever, shortness of breath or cough; household members do not have symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath and child does not have any close contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

  • Hand hygiene stations (with hand sanitizer, sanitation wipes) are set up at the entrance of the front area. We will use sanitary wipes for cleaning the thermometer after each use.
