At Urban Jungle, we believe children learn best when they are moving, exploring, creating, and having fun.
Our Preschool + Play program combines purposeful early learning with hands-on activities, sensory exploration, creativity, movement, and plenty of active play. Because preschool shouldn't mean sitting still.
More Than a Classroom
Young children learn with their whole bodies—not just sitting at a table. Our unique preschool and indoor play environment give children the opportunity to move naturally between learning, creating, exploring, and active play throughout their day. Children build early academic skills while also developing confidence, independence, friendships, communication, coordination, and a genuine love of coming to school.
And yes—play is part of every preschool day.

Through playful, hands-on experiences, children develop early skills in:

Movement is an important part of childhood development—and an important part of our preschool day.
Our indoor play environment gives children opportunities to climb, balance, jump, explore, and build coordination, helping strengthen both fine and gross motor development.
PLAY
Play is how young children make sense of their world.
Through purposeful independent and group play, children practice sharing, communicating, cooperating, problem-solving, making friends, and becoming more independent.
At Urban Jungle, play isn't a break from learning. Play is part of learning.
Growing With Your Child
Our curriculum grows with children through their 2s, 3s and 4s, with activities and expectations adapted to each developmental stage.
2s — Explore & Discover
A warm introduction to preschool focused on separation, language development, sensory exploration, classroom routines, socialization, movement, and learning through play.
3s — Learn & Connect
Children become increasingly independent while developing early literacy and math skills, communication, friendships, creativity, problem-solving, and confidence.
4s — Grow & Get Ready
Our older preschoolers build stronger literacy, phonics, writing, math, STEAM, and classroom-readiness skills while continuing to learn through hands-on exploration, movement, and play.

Choose schedule that works for your family
HALF DAY
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
A balanced morning of learning, sensory and creative exploration, social development, movement, and play.
FULL DAY
8:30 AM – 2:45 PM
More time to learn, explore, build friendships, play, enjoy lunch, and experience a complete preschool day.
EXTENDED CARE
Available until 6 PM
A convenient longer day for families who need additional care, while children remain in a familiar and nurturing environment.
